Place where cargo is removed last (4,3)
I believe the answer is:
hold out
'last' is the definition.
(I know that last can be written as hold out)
'place where cargo is removed' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'removed' could be 'out' (taken out) and 'out' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'hold' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for hold out that I've seen before include "Endure, last" , "Offer - last" , "Continue to be sufficient" , "Offer inducement or maintain resistance" , "Stand firm" .)
