Pleased by ‘cake’ that’s reconstituted pulses (5-4,4)
I believe the answer is:
black-eyed peas
'pulses' is the definition.
(I know this)
'pleased by cake that's reconstituted' is the wordplay.
'pleased by cake' anagrams to 'BLACK-EYED PEAS'.
But, I'm unsure how the anagram is indicated.
Can you help me to learn more?
I've seen this clue in The Everyman puzzle in The Observer.
