Pretty much perfectly – or OK? (4,4)
I believe the answer is:
very well
'ok?' is the definition.
('very well' can be a synonym of 'ok')
'pretty much perfectly' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'much' could be 'well' (synonyms) and 'well' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'very' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'or' is the link.
