Crossword Genius

Private dance, silent, moving (11)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

clandestine

'private' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'dance silent moving' is the wordplay.
'moving' indicates anagramming the letters.
'dance'+'silent'='dancesilent'
'dancesilent' with letters rearranged gives 'CLANDESTINE'.

(Other definitions for clandestine that I've seen before include "Surreptitious" , "Send a client (anag) - covert" , "Concealed" , "Undercover" , "Done secretively" .)

I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
