Push in reset or double flow in one's pipes (5,8)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

blood pressure

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'flow in one's pipes' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I cannot understand how one could define the other.

'push in reset or double' is the wordplay.
'push' becomes 'press' (press can mean to force or push).
'in' means one lot of letters goes inside another.
'reset' indicates anagramming the letters.
'or'+'double'='ordouble'
'ordouble' with letters rearranged gives 'bloodure'.
'press' placed inside 'bloodure' is 'BLOOD PRESSURE'.

(Other definitions for blood pressure that I've seen before include "vital sign" , "What is high in hypertension" , "It's high over 140/90mmHg" , "110/70 approximately for a healthy adult?" , "See 20" .)

I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
