Race to small issue (6)
I believe the answer is:
sprint
'race' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'small issue' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'small' could be 's' (abbreviation - e.g. clothes size) and 's' is present in the answer.
The remaining letters 'print' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
'to' acts as a link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for sprint that I've seen before include "quick run" , "Rush" , "Run quickly" , "To make fast progress" , "Short fast run" .)
