Relying on one's inclination (7)
I believe the answer is:
leaning
'inclination' is the definition.
(I know that inclination can be written as leaning)
'relying on one's' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'one' could be 'an' (an apple is one apple) and 'an' is present in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for leaning that I've seen before include "Inclined" , "Sloping" , "Tendency, partiality" , "Inclination" , "Inclining, bending" .)
