'bevy' can be an answer for 'group' (I've seen this before). I am not certain of the 'in' bit.
'remain vindictively venting' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'remain' could be 'be' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'be' is present in the answer.
