Reportedly takes a seat in bath (4)
I believe the answer is:
sitz
'bath' is the definition.
(sitz bath is a kind of bath)
'reportedly takes a seat' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'seat' could be 'sit' ('sit' can be a synonym of 'seat') and 'sit' is located in the answer.
A single letter 'z' remains which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'in' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
