Rough clothes concealing articles in different places (5,3,7)
I believe the answer is:
under the weather
'rough' is the definition.
(under the weather means feeling unwell or rough)
'clothes concealing articles in different places' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'articles' could be 'athe' ('a' and 'the', indefinite and definite articles) and 'athe' is present in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for under the weather that I've seen before include "where you have to look for this crossword?" , "not so good" , "Sick" , "with clouds gathering overhead" , "the worse for wear" .)
