I believe the answer is:
thunderstruck
'shocked' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'business after crash' is the wordplay.
'business' becomes 'truck' (dealings, as in 'having no truck with' something).
'after' is a charade indicator (letters next to each other).
'crash' becomes 'thunders' (I can't justify this - if you can you should give a lot more credence to this answer).
'truck' put after 'thunders' is 'THUNDERSTRUCK'.
'traders finally do' is the link.
