Slow movement produced no advance (5)
I believe the answer is:
lento
'slow movement' is the definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
'no advance' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'no' could be 'o' (O resembles 0) and 'o' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'lent' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
'produced' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for lento that I've seen before include "It's slower than adagio" , "Slowly (mus.)" , "(When playing music) slowly" , "How one scores slowly" , "Slow (mus.)" .)
