Spray lube and rinse off (9)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

nebuliser

'spray' is the definition.
(I know that spray can be written as nebuliser)

'lube and rinse off' is the wordplay.
'and' means one lot of letters go next to another.
'off' indicates an anagram.
'lube' after 'rinse' is 'rinselube'.
'rinselube' with letters rearranged gives 'NEBULISER'.

(Other definitions for nebuliser that I've seen before include "Device for producing a fine spray, for inhaling a medicinal drug, say" , "Spray - blue rinse (anag)" , "Drug delivery system" , "dispensed by this" , "Used to inhale the drug" .)

I've seen this clue in The Independent.
