I believe the answer is:

(I've seen this in another clue)
'part of brum and wants whiskey to go' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'part' could be 'aston' (I have seen 'part of Birmingham' mean 'aston' so perhaps 'part' could also mean 'aston') and 'aston' is present in the answer.
The remaining letters 'ishes' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
