Start driving on a course (3,3)
I believe the answer is:
tee off
This might be a double definition.
'start' is the first definition.
(I've seen this before)
'driving on a course' is the second definition.
Although both the answer and definition are verbs in their base form, I can't understand how they can define each other.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for tee off that I've seen before include "Start a round of golf" , "Start playing golf" , "start using iron" , "Start a golf game" , "Strike golf ball at beginning of each hole" .)
