Well house possibly in part of stately home (7,4)
I believe the answer is:
drawing room
'part of stately home' is the definition.
'drawing room' can be an answer for 'part' (I have seen 'Part of house' mean 'drawing room' so perhaps 'part' could also mean 'drawing room'). I'm not certain of the 'of stately home' bit.
'well house possibly in' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'in' is found in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for drawing room that I've seen before include "reception area" , "place of entertainment" , "where one may be entertained" , "Scene of life class, maybe" , "Part of house" .)
