What's found on the coast, apart from Kent etc (7)
I believe the answer is:
seaside
'what's found on the coast' is the definition.
(the seaside is by the coast)
'apart from kent etc' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'apart' could be 'aside' (synonyms) and 'aside' is located in the answer.
'from' could be 'e' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'e' is found in the answer.
A single letter 's' remains which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
(Other definitions for seaside that I've seen before include "holiday location" , "holiday venue" , "Holiday place" , "Ocean shore" , "Popular resort area" .)
