Where bandana might be found for Parliamentarian (9)
I believe the answer is:
roundhead
'for parliamentarian' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'where bandana might be' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'be' could be 'head' (heading is a kind of being) and 'head' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'round' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'found' acts as a link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for roundhead that I've seen before include "Parliamentarian (hist.)" , "Cavalier's foe" , "An enemy of Charles" , "Supporter of Parliament during the English Civil Wars" , "antimonarchist" .)
