Widow's little one? (4)
I believe the answer is:
mite
This could be a double definition.
'widow's' is the first definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I can't see how one could define the other.
'little one?' is the second definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for mite that I've seen before include "Tiny arachnid, person or amount of money" , "The Biblical widow's offering" , "Child; a small amount" , "Old piece" , "Tiny creature found in food" .)
