Work out without others? Very into that (5)
I believe the answer is:
solve
'work out' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'without others? very into that' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'very' could be 'so' (both can mean 'extremely') and 'so' is found within the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for solve that I've seen before include "Explain (a mystery)" , "Deal with (a problem)" , "Find the answer to this clue, for instance" , "as you're trying to do now" , "Unravel (a clue)" .)
