Part of the body, and what Cockneys do with it (3)
I believe the answer is:
ear
'part' is the definition.
(I know that ear is a type of organ)
'body and what cockneys do with it' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'it' could be 'e' ('e' can mean 'electronic' which is similar to 'IT') and 'e' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'ar' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'of the' acts as a link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for ear that I've seen before include "It's used in hearing" , "Sense organ" , "Musical ability" , "Spike of, eg, corn" , "Aural appendage" .)
